Whether you are visiting Oshawa for the first time or are a resident of this great city, you must plan a visit to the Canadian Automotive Museum. Located at 99 Simcoe St. South in what was once home to Jackson Motor Company (1921), the Canadian Automotive Museum takes you on a journey through Canada’s automotive history.
Discover the vast collection of vehicles that range from an 1898 Woods Electric to a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina. Bend the spacetime continuum with a photo op at the DeLorean, or check out some of the first vehicles manufactured in Oshawa. Be sure to bring your kids along, as there are plenty of things to see and do, including a craft station and a visit with Lightening McQueen from the Disney animated film Cars.
