DURHAM SHOESTRING PERFORMERS

Operated out of the City of Oshawa’s Art Resource Centre (ARC), the 48th season of the Durham Shoestring Performers will feature a November production of ‘Goodness’ by Michael Redhill. Goodness tells the tale of Michael, a writer, searching for witnesses to a family tragedy.

TAKE A STROLL THROUGH THE ROBERT MCLAUGHLIN GALLERY

The Robert McLaughlin Gallery boasts upwards of 20 exhibitions annually, with a focus on modern and contemporary Canadian art. Current exhibitions include, ‘The Ties That Bind’, curated by Sonya Jones, which examines the many facets of connection; and, The Sire of Sires, a video work by Jordan Elliot Prosser created during his artist residency at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery.

CATCH SOME SOUNDWAVES AT A LIVE MUSIC VENUE

THE OSHAWA MUSIC HALL

Calling all Elvis fans! It is time to pull on your blue suede shoes and head over to the Oshawa Music Hall to catch Elvis – Wonderful World of Christmas on December 4. Not into Elvis? Check out the Headstones Flight Risk Tour on December 15.

THE BILTMORE THEATRE

Located in the heart of downtown Oshawa, the Biltmore Theatre is known for its eclectic and intimate venue space. Their fall line-up also looks incredible with performances from TUNS, Beyond the Sun with Eric Punzo and Jacob Henley, Tyler Shaw, and Sloan.

THE ONTARIO PHILHARMONIC AT THE REGENT THEATRE

Did you know that the Ontario Philharmonic resides right here in Oshawa? You can catch a live performance on Saturday, November 19 at the Regent Theatre as they present their Soloists Series performance of Fantasia – The Magical Sounds of the Orchestra.
