After browsing the aisles of Dollarama this past weekend, I was reminded by the shelves of party hats and noise makers that New Year’s Eve is quickly approaching, and I need to tell you about all the fun ways to ring in the new year in Oshawa.

Oshawa Celebrates
The City of Oshawa will host their annual Oshawa Celebrates event from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Delpark Homes Centre, 1661 Harmony Rd. N. This award-winning free, family-friendly event features a variety of activities to help you ring in 2023 with your kiddos.
The main stage on Ice Pad 2 will feature a line-up of entertainment, including music, jumping castles, interactive entertainment, a magic illusion show, and an early (8:45 p.m.) new years countdown with local dignitaries.
Other activities include free skating, swimming, a photo station, mural decorating, axe throwing, and much more.

New Year’s Eve at NEB’S Fun World
Our family never needs an excuse the visit NEBS, but if you are looking for a reason to visit them this holiday season, I can’t think of a better reason than to ring in the new year!
Ticket holders can enjoy cosmic bowling for up to six players, a $30 arcade pass, and a round of party favours and noise makers for the entire group.
Various start times are available between 4 and 11 p.m. Be sure to book your tickets early, as this event is bound to sell out quickly!

New Year’s Eve at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club
Laugh your way into 2023 with a night to remember at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club. The event will feature stand-up performances from various comedians, including Canadian stand-up and sketch comedian Ian Sirota, known for his role on the comedy series Comedy Inc.
Are you looking to grab dinner and show? Wendel Clark’s restaurant will take reservations for the set price menu leading up to the show. Please note that separate reservations are required for dinner.

New Year’s Eve at Junction Nightclub
While I anticipate being home in my pajamas by 10 p.m., there was a time when I would have been all over the epic dance party happening at Junction Night Club on New Year’s Eve! Junction Night Club is one of Oshawa hottest nightlife experiences, and their New Year’s Eve Party will not disappoint.
Club 717 - NYE2023
Club 717 is so excited about ringing in 2023 that they are throwing parties two nights in a row! Join the fun on Friday, December 30, as Kali Kontour hosts a New Year’s Drag Show featuring a variety of performers, including Big D. Elle, and Oshawa's dancing diva Orlandra Bloom. Join them again on December 31 for their annual New Year’s Eve celebration.
There will be a $5 cover at the door for the New Year’s Drag Show, and you can get tickets for the New Year’s Eve Party at the link below.
