The last month of the year always affords me the opportunity to look back and reflect on how far I’ve come. Sometimes that’s with friends over champagne and something savoury. But most of the time, it is in the solitude of my living room, with a fantastic acoustic album and a journal.  The weather took away some of my seasonal joy this year with the cancellation of the Santa Claus Parade of Lights. It is difficult to get into the season without these annual events that bring people together....
